Wiki gel splint/brace

We are just recently seeing the use of Gel Splints in ED, its seems they are interchanging verbage with ankle splint, stirup splint and air cast/splint.
What we were wondering is do we code gel splints the same as an the other ankle splints. I have been unable to locate any info on this issue except the manufactures who are selling them.

In ED Gel splints are not codable becuase these are prefabricated only. Splint applications are divided into two groups - Prefabricated splints and custom splints, we have to code only costom splins.
