You use the date that you do the assessment.
The implementation date is July 1, 2024.
The updated MLN has an implementation date of 10/7/2024.

The implementation is the clarification of AWV with the SDOH risk assessment. Effective date of G0136 is 1/1/2024.
That was my understanding also, but I have been getting denials stating Statutorily excluded. I was advised by my ACO people to re-bill after 7/01/24 since apparently CMS needed to update something. Well Those were again denied. I am confused is anyone getting payment on these?
CMS has to submit change requests transmittals to the MACs for the things they enact. Where are you getting denials from? Your MAC or from other payers?
