I need some expert help in figuring out the correct diagnosis. MD states " (L) frontal craniectomy wound infection with flap bone infection and subglial infection fluid". I chose G06.2-Extradural and subdural abscess, unspecified and B95.1 for the infection element. I do not know if I am suppose to use G06.0 " Intercranial abscess or G06.2. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!:rolleyes:
 
You need to code this as a post procedural infection. This will be a T code which will need an A, D, or S extension. Code the T code first and then your specific infection codes.
