I am trying to bill out telephonic claims. I was told to use G2012. I have billed that and got rejected for needing HCPS code G0466-G0468. I added the G0467 and the G2012 code with MOD 95/GT on line G2012 and now it was returned to provider with saying non payable services. Any help is appreciated.

I believe that the only billable code for telephone only encounters is G0071 for traditional Medicare. Medicare Advantage plans can have their own guidelines. Also, I believe that the guidelines changed a few hours ago, for FQHCs, so there may be additional billable codes.

Per out MAC ( FQHC in OR) Medicare does not pay for Telephonic services as they are not considered FQHC services. Medicare will only cover audio / video telehealth visit. Audio only are not covered.
They had a Webinar regarding this on April 24th and 27th.
