Help Radiology Coder!!! Can anybody tell me who is a reputable Radiology person. I need info about someone who is knowledgeable regarding X-rays done for PICC placement purposes. I know you can use V58.81 as the DX code, but I need some type of documentation showing this is an acceptable way of coding.
 
Guess that depends on what codes your using there are CCI edits on Chest xrays following certain PICC placements. Your not supose to bill a CXR to confirm placement.
