How would you bill a foot x ray with only 1 view? 73620 is the code for foot x ray; 2 views and 73630 is for foot x ray; 3 views. Thanks!

Thank you! That's what I was thinking, but I was hoping there was something better. There should be a code for a foot x ray with 1 view!

I have a Dr that is constantly billing 73630-50 but there are only 5 xray views total. 1 view includes both feet but my understanding is that can still only be counted as 1 view. How would you bill that?

My first question is why the xray of the other foot was taken. If for comparison, it should not be billed. There needs to be medical necessity.
