needing help to decide on codes 36147 or 75791 which one is the best to use for the fistulogram and can you charge for a repeat , I am new at coding interventional and could use some assistance. thank you
 
these are tough, especially when you get into AV interventions. the only difference between these two codes is catheter placement. did he place a catheter during this session (36147) and evaluate the AV flow using radiology? or did he use a previously placed catheter to evaluate it (75791)?

thank you yes after a disscusion with the physcian he is doing this procedure after the catheter has been placed , i was just unsure of my coding i figured the correct code was 75791 for this reason, thank you so much for the added help.:)
