This patient had a fem-fem bypass with Basilic Vein which was harvested at time of surgery. CPT 35500, harvest of upper extremity vein, is an add-on code to just a few procedures and a Fem-Fem bypass, 35558, is not one of them. Is there a way to bill for this harvest, or is it included in the procedure?
