Does anyone do xrays or in house bloodwork in PCP offices? How does it reimburse?

Our clinic does not do Xrays, but we do offer in house lab testing

Because we have both our CLIA waiver and our Moderate Complexity certificate, we are able to bill any lab we do in house (either with a -QW modifier or no modifier at all)

Because of our special status as a Freestanding 638 Tribal Clinic, we are also able to bill ANY lab encounter (even those for send out labs) with Nevada Medicaid at an all-inclusive rate

Some private payers will still give us some reimbursement on send out (aka: Modifier -90) labs, but of course we get no reimbursement at all from Medicare for modifier -90 labs
