Excision of Ununited Bone Fragment Medial Epicondyle

Is CPT code 24140 the correct CPT code for excision on a ununited bone fragment from the medial epicondyle? My concern is the code description reads for infected bone & this is not the case.

The provider has chosen CPT code 24110 excision or curettage of bone cyst or benign tumor which I do not see as applicable for the bone fragment.

Your help/guidance is appreciated.
