Per Encoder Pro:

The patient's face and eyelid are draped and prepped for surgery. Local or general anesthesia may be administered. Approximately six weeks after a separately reported reconstruction of the eyelid, the tissue is divided to create an upper and lower lid. Any redundant tissue is trimmed
