I see a lot of post pertaining to anal lesions. I always look before I post. I have to admit, I am still confused. I get confused on the definitions of electrodesiccation, electrosurgery, and laser. I've read them, but they just sound the same.
My op note
Supra pubic lesion removed with cautery. The external anal lesions were removed with cautery and two areas of defects closed with 3-0 chromic. Using operating anoscope, several small lesions were cauterized. Dressings were applied.
I was looking at 46612 for the anoscope
46910 for the external
11420 for the supra pubic

Any insight to this would be much appreciated. Any websites that I can learn from?
