My surgeon performed FESS with multiple components, one of which he indicated was maxillectomy.
Any suggestions, I used unlisted code 31299 [compare to 31225-open px] but rejected from ins co.

PROCEDURE:
A left complete functional endoscopic sinus surgery, (all documented in note)
right medial maxillectomy,
right posterior ethmoidectomy,
right sphenoidotomy.

**first a right medial maxillectomy was performed.
**medial wall of the maxillary sinus cavity was then lowered down to the level of the nasal floor
