Hello,
Was wondering if I should bill for a EGD biopsy with 43239 and 43241-51 for gastrojejunostomy. The doctor placed the tube at the antrum of the stomach. endoscopically advanced and the tube distal to D3.

Im unclear of what you are asking im sorry.

Gastrojejunostomy is a surgical procedure in which an anastomosis is created between the stomach and the proximal loop of the jejunum. This is usually done either for the purpose of draining the contents of the stomach or to provide a bypass for the gastric contents

43241- The physician places a tube or catheter through the endoscope.
43239- biopsy through the endoscope

We can give 43241 & 43239 if the physician has done both
