Hello everyone:

I am coding a scout film for a barium enema. The patient had retained fecal material, so the barium enema examination was rescheduled. What ICD-9 code do I use? Diagnosis which came over from facility is "scout for contrast enema". CPT I am using is 74000.

You'll need more information-signs or symptoms, the reason WHY the test was scheduled in the first place.
