Need help coding this Procedure: ORIF proximal humerus and humeral head
Brief summary of op note
Patient brought in to operative theater.......
..........Fracture identified and reduced. First screw what was put in was screw from anterior to posterior across fracture site, the 2 main distal fragments. Then a proximal humerus 5-hole plate was used, fashioned to lateral aspect. First screw
placed in was a cortical screw, nonlocking. This through the shaft right to the plate. Plate was in excellent position and remainder of screws were 3.5 locking screws. These were placed in the head and the shaft . Construct was excellent.
Am I looking at CPT 23615 only?
