The doctor did a flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy, direct laryngoscopy, bronchosopy, dilation of bilateral pyriform aperture stenosis, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, and lateral pharyngoplasty. Is there a good CPT code to use for dilation of pyriform aperture stenosis? The only code I'm finding for the aperture stenosis is 30465 but it just says repair of nasal vestibular stenosis. Or can I use 31295 since that is a nasal dilation? The note regarding the dilation says "Bilateral pyriform apertures were serially dilated with urethral dilators up to a size of 22."
