My op note states that one lesion was excised sharply and the base cauterized. The other lesion was only cauterized. Since the first lesion was cauterized after the excision, should I code this 46910? I am unclear when if code 46924 will allow the excision of the one and the cautery of the other. I hope this makes sense.
