HI, I'm learning IR and I have a question about cut downs during an intervention, when can you code for a cut down? Would I use 36625? The Physician performed a brachial artery cut down and repair for delivery of endoprosthesis.

What kind of endoprosthesis and where implanted?

HI

The procedure is to vascularize lower extremity, they used brachial artery for access but there was significant atherosclerotic disease so they opted for open brachial exposure they don't state what the endoprosthesis is, I thought I was just an approach. Also when can or can't I code for this? Thanks again.
