Our doctors are doing a craniotomy with partial debulking of tumor with motor mapping using electrodes.
The stealth was used to confirm location for the incision only not the procedure. Then a single burr hole was used to remove the cranial flap. Biopsies were performed and sent to pathology. Then the microscope was brought in. Using the microscope, dissection was performed. Tumor was debulked. No attempt was made to make a complete resection. Motor mapping used electrodes.
