What CPT do you all use for the above? I have written in my CPT book to use 27070. My doctor gave me 27062. I'm not sure if either one of those is correct. Can anyone help? Op note attached.
Thanks,

In saying this I realize that the documentation is lacking specificity. A heterotopic ossification may have been removed, but part of this op note gives a hint that maybe what was removed was not a HO. When I read that bone wax was used to cover cancellous bone, I question if a HO ossification was actually removed. But again, your documentation is lacking specificity which would answer the question.
