Happy Monday! Coders,
I need your opinion on the cpt code you would use for the above procedure-
partial exostectomy of the fifth metatarsal(28122) along with repair of peroneal brevis tendon (28200)
Can anyone explain the difference between 28122 and 28113?

**portion of the surgery*** rongeur was utilized to remove the osseous prominence over the base of the fifth metatarsal and smooth it to prevent bony pressure in the soft tissue.
