I need feedback on coding this. Patient had an open salpingo-oophorectomy on the left and only a salpingectomy on the right. Since these are listed as separate procedures, would you only report 58720?
 
As both of these codes specify unilateral or bilateral, I do not think it is appropriate to bill both. I would bill 58720 only.
58720 Salpingo-oophorectomy, complete or partial, unilateral or bilateral (separate procedure)
