Good Morning,

I am hoping someone can help me regarding cpt 29891..Our podiatrist here did a procedure and I am wondering if I can bill 2 units on it..the procedure he did is "Diagnostic and operative ankle arthroscopy with aggressive debridement, right ankle, osteochondral lesion microfracture repair x2 talar dome.." Because he repaired two OCD lesions can I bill 2 units? CPT 29891 is " arthroscopy, ankle, surgical, excision of osteochondral defect of talus and/or tibia, including drilling of the defect".......usually if it inludes multiple there is an (S) in parenthesis after defect...Can any one help me on this? Thanks so much!!
