Any thoughts on which code best fits what was done here, 28120 or 28302?
13 year old patient with left ankle posterior talar Shephard's fracture that went on to nonunion now with persistent pain and elects to under go excision of the nonunion. The joint capsule for the ankle was identified and incised. The posterior talar Shephard's fracture nonunion site was identified using C-arm x-ray and a Freer.
