I AM NOW WORKING AT AN ASC, NEED HELP CODING TRIGGER FINGER RELEASE. I KNOW SOUNDS SIMPLE BUT I AM STUCK.....WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 26055 AND 26455?
26055 is incision of the tendon sheath, whereas 26455 is for incision of the actual tendon
it is the tendon sheath that often develops a small mass or tenosynovitis which causes the triggering of the finger.
