The facility I am employed by wants to use CPT code 97150 for music, art & dance therapy. It is my understanding code 97150 is a PT code & not to be used by behavioral health. Their argument is because it is therapy they can use it. Where can I find information to prove this is wrong?
 
G0176: Activity therapy, such as music, dance, art or play therapies not for recreation, related to the care and treatment of patient's disabling mental health problems, per session (45 minutes or more)
