Good Morning,

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions regarding coding material for Cardiovascular & Thoracic coding? I will be starting a new position at the end of month and would like to be prepared.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Beth

I'm not sure what you mean by Thoracic coding, but for Cardiovascular coding, I suggest MedLearn or Z-Health Publishing for coding manuals.
Thanks,

I use the Coding Companions published by Ingenix. And I also use information from the professional associations, such as the Society for Thoracic Surgeons. Dr. Z is the premiere resource for cardiovascular coding. Hope this helps.
