Question, I coded V55.5 for colostomy present of lower abdomen. I wanted to make sure I coded this correctly. It doesn't give me anything else to go on. :confused:
 
Code V44.3 Colostomy Status. Bcos the pt having colostomy. If the provider made and changes in the colostomy ( adjustment or removal) that time only code V55.5 Attention To Cystostomy. I thing its usefull to u.
