I have a patient that had CSF sample removed from her Ommaya in our out patient facility. The code that I feel I should use is 61020. No chemotherapy was given after the removal of the spinal fluid. I just wanted to get a second opinion on my code choice.

I go with 61070; puncture of shunt tubing or reservoir for aspiration or injection procedure.
