My doctor performed a Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, proximal anastomosis left femoral to posterior tibial bypass with AngioSculpt ballon. Please help with CPT code.

Try looking at these codes:-

35879, 35881 - w/o thrombectomy.


37186 - w/ thrombectomy.

That would fall under 37224 since it was at the proxmial end(femoral artery).

My doctor performed angioplasty & thrombectomy on right axillary to left femoral artery bypass graft and same procedures on left femoral to popliteal graft.what would be the the codes and modifiers ? Please suggest.

I'm looking at 37184 and 37185 for the thrombectomy and 37246 for the ax-fem bypass, and 37224-59 for the fem-pop graft.
