Does anyone know what hcpcs code would be used for carbon dioxide angioplasties - co2 is used in place of contrast, hcpcs code Q9966, for the angioplasties we use cpt 36902 - would HCPCS code Q9968 - injection, non radioactive, non-contrast - be used for the CO2. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

They are the peripheral and central dialysis segments for dialysis access so I was questioning if the hcpcs code Q9968 would be appropriate for CO2 as the contrast Q9966 - Q9967 is not.
