Would 33602 be a good choice for the closure of the aortic valve? Surgeon decided to oversew the valve with multiple pledgeted 4-0 Prolene stitches on the margins of the valve. This procedure was done at the same time a LVAD was inserted.

Did you ever find an answer to your question? I just had the same situation the other day and I too am leaning toward CPT 33602. Just wondering if you found any additional information. Thank you for any information you can share!
