Hi,
just wondering if anybody can refer where I can buy cheatsheets for general surgery dxs...I checked AMA , decision health but there's no sample to their icd10 dx format. I get confused when you add acute and chronic and when I check the icd10 book you have to go to one section to another. Since I need to meet my productivity, the checking back and forth is taking so much of my time.

Also, what reference book anybody can suggest when doing general surgery. I do alot of colon resection, I'm new to this field.

thank you

Reference books

For surgeries I like to use Optum360 Desk Reference for Procedures.

I use 3M for coding software. There is a combo code for acute with chronic cholecystitis. I just know when I path it I start with cholecystitis acute, with chronic. It appears in book as cholecystitis chronic with acute as K81.2 and if it is that with a stone in gallbladder then it is K80.12

Hope that helps!;)
