The patient had a right carpal tunnel procedure performed on the same day as a left thumb injection of corticosteroid.
Can i bill 64721-RT and 20600-FA together without any additional modifiers since there are no NCCI edits for this code combination?
Any help would be appreciated!

You're thinking is correct. Because there are no NCCI edits between the two codes no additional modifiers are needed. However, I would double check the documentation to make sure the patient isn't within a global period. Many times patients will have a CTR done on one side and then a few weeks later have the other side done. If this is the case then you would want to add modifier 79 to both the CTR and injection codes. Lastly, be sure to have the appropriate diagnosis linked to each code.
