Is anyone else having issues with reporting Measure #235 (Hypertension: Plan of Care)? I have contacted CMS as the measure codes have been deleted effective 1-1-12, however they have not been able to tell me what codes they are replacing them with.
 
I got this back from another forum in case anyone else is dealing with the same problem I am having:


The word from CMS is that the codes are deleted. . . retroactively! So, as you've seen, they will be rejected.

CMS did announce that they will be coming out with new G codes to report this measure April 1. They haven't said how they will handle all the measure reporting between Jan. 1 and April 1 yet. I'm keeping an eye on this and will post to let you all know when I hear something.
