Hello. Patient was born breech presentation via C-Section. Normal Hip Exam. Patient had an Ultrasound at 6 weeks and the results were normal. The documentation does Not state any signs or symptoms, or any concerns for hip problems. The Dr. billed 73502 with P03.0, and the insurance is denying the claim, asking for a "problem" dx. Dr. ordered the hip X-Ray "to check status of hips as baby was breech." Can CPT 73502 be billed with a screening dx, if so, what ICD code? Thank you.

You might consider code Z13.828, Encounter for screening for other musculoskeletal disorder.
