When a toe has a fracture and the treatment is buddy taping is it appropriate to use the fracture care code or strapping code 92550?

Could you give me your rational... I would lean towards the fracture care because it is a fracture and should be covered under the global should a follow up be needed. I would think the buddy tape is a brace on the toe or does it have to be a manufactured brace?
