I have never code a Botox injection to the bladder w/ cystoscopy. I feel confident that I need to code 52287. My question is on the injection area. Would I only code 52287 with J0585. Does the 52287 cover the injection? I am use to coding PCP's in office. I know this is a little vague.

The description for this code (Cystourethroscopy, with injection(s) for chemodenervation of the bladder ) leaves little doubt that the injection is included in the procedure without having to bill a separate code. See the link below for the billing sheet right from Allergan, the makers of Botox, on correct billing based on the place of service. I will not that you should only bill for the J code if you are the one purchasing the medication. Hope this helps!
