hello all, I currently work in a specialty practice and we are going to start billing out hep a and b combo vaccines. any advise on exactly how to bill them ? what codes to use and how ?

we will be using TWINRIX combo vaccine.
all our patient are over 18 years

90636 is Hep A & Hep B vaccine, adult dosage, for IM use. You would also be able to the administration code, 90471. If more than 1 vaccine is given, for example the hep combo and a flu shot, remember to only bill 90471 once and add 90472 for the additional vaccines administered.
