Hi Looking for guidance at getting Medicare to pay for Nerve Conduction Studies CPT 95911 done in our office. I work for an Internal Medicine Physician. All the commercial insurances pay for this but despite billing with the payable diagnosis' listed on the LCD list they reject the claims as not medically necessary. Does anyone have experience billing these tests? thank you

If you're billing with an accepted dx, then I would just appeal online with a copy of the report.

Medicare does have a document on the likely number of tests relative to the diagnosis code. You might want to google for that, and if you can't come up with anything, I can look for you.
