Good Morning,
If we obtain the sample during a biopsy and then submit that to an outside lab for diagnosis we can only be the "TC" portion of the exam. Correct?

Are you saying you are the surgeon office obtaining the specimen? If so then you bill the procedure code and no lab code at all those are for the lab to use when they prepare the specimens and the evaluation.
