We have been receiving claim denials for this test. In the past a miscellaneous lab code has been used (81479).
What is the correct way to bill for this test?

From what I can see on at least one payers payment policy that this falls under the unlisted code (not surprising considering how new the test is in the US) . Did it say why it was denied? Was it a Medical Necessity issue? Missing information on claim form?
