I have a question on billing 90863 we are a Pulmonary care practice that also specializes in sleep medicine I don't know any thing about billing for psychiatric services.
Would someone explain this guidelines for billing this code from reading the CPT book it looks like you can bill an evaluation management code, but also have bill a psychotherapy code. My manager is wanting to bill this code when we bill for controlled substances would it be appropriate? Thanks in advance for any help.
