Does anyone know what code BCBS would approve as I sent both the H01.131 and H01.139 and was denied as primary dx is inconsistent with procedure.
 
Can you please clarify- what was the procedure code? Was it billed with both of these diagnoses, or was it billed with H01.139 then corrected to H01.131? I know payers don't like the unspecified codes like H01.139, but would need to know more information to decide if that is the issue.
