Does anyone know why BC is denying CPT 80050? They paid it last year. I am using diagnosis code Z00.00. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
 
What was the reason for the denial that BC gave you?

Denials can be for many different reasons. My guess in the situation you're giving here would be that 80050 is not a covered preventive care benefit under the patient's plan (benefits may change from year to year), but you'd need to look at the denial reason and/or ask the payer to know for sure if that's the case.
