Wiki Avastin injection in global period

Our physician wants to give Avastin to a patient in a global period to a laser (67210) due to the fact that the condition (E11.3313) has worsened. I am not sure what modifier to append to the injection as it was not staged so -58 would not be appropriate and it is not a new dx or other eye so not -79 either. Can he treat with Avastin or does he have to wait until global is over? Thanks for any help!
