Doctor did an arthroscopic repair of a rotator cuff and injected "an autogenous blood graft patch to fill and replace missing tissue due to chronic tear and fill the gaps. This also assisted in induction of healing" I spoke with the facilitly administrator and this is not the procedure that includes aphoresis and a GPS graft matrix. The doctor seems to be simply injecting the patient's own blood into the joint.
Has anyone coded a procedure like this and what codes were used?
