Hello I am coding attempted aspiration pilonidal cyst for facility ER. The MD aspirates pilonidal cyst with 19 gauge needle but no pus was obtained. He says that he abandoned the I&D. Would attempted aspiration pilonidal cyst qualify for unlisted skin procedure CPT 17999? Thank you for your help.
