Atherosclerosis of unspecified extremity with an ulcer

Provider documented and assessed an ulcer of the right foot, PVD and the HPI has Atherosclerosis of extremity with ulceration. Provider was queried to clarify if atherosclerosis was for the right extremity but did not reply. My dilemma is that the codes available to code Atherosclerosis of the extremities with ulcer indicate left or right and in this case there is no specified limb affected. Would it be appropriate to code I70.209 and the L97 ulcer code? or use I70.25(this code indicates "other extermity" and asks to code from L98 series)?
